Serving Atlanta

To provide moral leadership in the metropolitan area, the Center for Ethics organizes various programs and supplies consultation to the community. Services include the following:

Media Resource:
Print, radio, and television journalists invited to the Center’s events; faculty available to provide information and interviews for local and national media.

Continuing Ethical Education:
Lectures and symposia for community professional groups on issues in applied ethics relevant to their crafts.

Continuing Legal Education:
Legal ethics seminars held by the Center, which collaborates with Georgia State’s College of Law and members of Atlanta’s legal community.

Consulting:
Ethicists available for private, confidential consultation to parties concerned with ethical issues.

Workshops/Conferences:
Workshops in business ethics, bioethics, ethics and government, and other areas of applied ethics. Past conference topics include Management Ethics, the Homeless, and Affirmative Action.

Faculty Experts:
Georgia State Faculty and other experts available through Center for lectures and other community events.
