Speaker Bio:

Zena Hitz is the author of LOST IN THOUGHT (2020). Her essays defending liberal education and learning for its own sake have appeared in New Statesman, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Tablet (UK), First Things, Modern Age and the Washington Post. Trained in classical philosophy, she is now a tutor at St. John’s College in Annapolis, where she teaches across the liberal arts.
