Global Ethics Day- October 16, 2019
Global Ethics Day is a project of the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs. It’s an invitation for organizations to hold events that consider the role of ethics in our increasingly global lives. The Jean Beer Blumenfeld Center for Ethics will honor the day with three events:
- Lunch with interesting people – Wed 10/16 @ 12:30 – Jennifer Lee of the GA Budget and Policy Institute. Free.
- Mock Ethics Bowl – The GSU Ethics Bowl team will scrimmage on topical controversies. Wed 10/16, 2:00-3:15, 25 Park Place, 16th floor conference room. Free.
- Race, Privilege, and Speech – a conversation. Wed 10/16, 3:30-4:45. Join Evan Chase and Lorenzo Murphy for a candid conversation about how race and privilege shape our world.
